Yea!!!! Thank god, what a wonderful suprise. Just in time for work. I was seriously pouting. I though you had given up and moved on without a goodbye.

Anyway, I’m off to listen. Thanks!!!!!!!

  2. jesse from cali says:

  3. Don says:

I participated in the Relay for Life today, It was great to have your podcast along for the walk.

    Liquid vicodin? For RLS?

  4. Lotusblossom says:

The highly anticipated dtwf pizza party. Not your best show guys. But I still found it amusing. Hope the trip to Germany went, is going well.

  5. Eric from Washington says:

Hey I saw Ginger at a wedding on saturday. She had bleached blonde hair with white roots and was wearing a wonderful shade of peach lipstick it was fabulous.

  6. Andrea says:

You shouldn’t be surprised that liquid vicodin cures almost an aliment(did I spell that right?) you might have.

Suffice it to say I wasn’t prescriped the vicodin for the RLS problem…I have been self medicating to sleep. I had the vicodin left over from a vicious virus I had earlier this year. The medicine I did get for the RLS doesn’t seem to be working quite yet. But I do have high hopes.

Your right Lotus it wasn’t our best show…but even we have off days or weeks. We of course recognized that, but still wanted to post our sub par effort. Perhaps we were nervous because of the studio audience?????

  7. i swear you guys have a thing for sayin my city name!!!!, and the funny thing is that people here call it “the city that rhymes with fun” so i dont know if we are just a bunch of vagina lovin people (aka lesbians) or people really do believe that, which is terribly sad because its NOT fun to live here, its boring!!!!! someone please help me!!!! LOL!!!

another thing, Andrea, i gotta say it wasnt me who sent you guys the article! and my last name is NOT “adkins”!!!! jeez….my last name is in my email address!!! LOL

and dan i told you the age of consent here is 14, not 13, you’d have to wait a year to be able to bring him here! and then you need your passport too, cant forget that stupid thing!!!!

great show tho guys!!! loved when you guys were talking about las vegas! that part made me laugh really hard and i was trying to eat at the time so you can only imagine how that went!

  8. My goodness, people complain that there is no show and then when they post a show they don’t like it! WTF?? I thought the show was fun, and I was happy to have a new one. Thanks guys!!

  9. PJ says:

Great show, long wait! Never make me wait that long again! Oh and was this recorded a few weeks back since Jon was mentioning your 2 year anniversary coming up and according to the iTurds it states that DTWF # 1 was originally posted on 9/11/2005, how appropot for this wonderful, magical, train wreck.

  10. Morgan says:

i love you guys! you always make me laugh

    oh i agree with renee!

  11. Andrea says:

Why yes it was recorded a few weeks back before the Germany trip. But as you might imagine it has been a hectic time. I’ll take responsibility for the next delay since it was my schedule that bumped recording this time. And then I couldn’t make the rescheduled date and to top it off Justin is oput of town for two weeks. So while I know a show is in the hopper I don’t know when it will be posted. It appears our train will never be on the right track but we hope you love us anyways and continue to tune in.

  12. Jon says:

Andrea, you don’t have to take the blame for the delay. The rest of us are on GST (Gay Standard Time) and that tends to slow things a bit. Oh wait, we’re still on GDT…Gay Daylight Time which means we get more sunlight in our day but we still run late…and then a red truck drove by.

  13. LOL! I really had a good laugh at your comment, Jon.

I’ve got a question for anybody willing to answer…
Since DTWF has had a history (and future ;)) of being late with their releases, what do you guys listen to in the off-time?

I’m not looking for something to replace you guys (heaven forbid!) but it’d be nice to have something to listen to while I’m (patiently) waiting for the next ‘cast…
Any & all suggestions are appreciated!

  14. Justin says:

There are a lot of factors that influence our schedule, but really no justification for the snarkyness.

Some shows will be better than others. Some shows will be posted when you think they should be, others will not. And while there was a time when a weekly episode was our goal, we have long since abandoned that. So the shows will be published as we have the time and the resources to do so.

That means that there’s no such thing as “late” or “on time” as we do our best to put out a show when we can. When we have a show “in the hopper” I don’t post it right away because I try to keep them spaced at a reasonable distance.

We really do appreciate all of the wonderful listeners we have and the support we receive. Just please realize that we all have very unpredictable lives that make planning difficult at times.

We still love you all (well, most of you) and do our best to keep you happy!

  15. Morgan says:

I hope that i’m one of the fans you still love! lol 🙂

  16. Pony says:

(Christ. I’m an idiot… I posted this comment to the wrong show… *sigh*)

UGH… I just now got around to listening. Sorry, Dan, I’ll make sure that everyone knows that it was Justin making the horsey noises (I knew that, but apparently I fucked that one up like usual). Forgive me?

  17. PJ says:

Mike, other ones I listen to are *PNS Explosion*, Lucky Bitch Radio, and Nobody Likes Onions.

  18. Mary says:

I also listen to Pod is My Copilot. They tip their hat to DTWF every now and again, and they’re really fantastic….

Personally I just get excited whenever you guys get a podcast out. And who doesn’t love a little pizza talk?

  19. Deena says:

There were 18 comments when I went to the site (after listening) and I predicted that there would be at least one critical comment about the episode, and Justin would reply with some well-crafted and diplomatic ‘stfu’.

Your (collective) predictability is endearing and amusing, and that makes up for this episode. 😉

  20. Nik from the UK says:

I am another listener who is just grateful for the little ray of sunshine DTWF brings to my life with each new episode. To help me get through the dark days in between, I’ve started listening to the Todd and Pony show featuring THAT Pony and his great co-host the unsurprisingly named Todd. Not a substitute but a very happy discovery thanks to Justin.

Love you guys, love your buttholes…

I just found the greatest eighties bar in san diego. you have to come.

  22. Marck N Robb says:

I think I finally found Ginger Snatch. Check her out: http://thumb18.webshots.net/t/53/453/5/6/58/2818506580099857378FuyUZW_th.jpg

I hope ya all are doing great can not wait fur another podcast.

    Marck N Robb

  23. Amber says:

That would be me that sent y’all the Cheetos article. I’m from IOWA. Not Canada. Although I imagine that Canada’s a hell of a lot better than Iowa.

  24. Andrea says:

Thanks Amber! Sorry about the unfortunate credit to another fabulous Amber.

IOWA is not so bad. Afterall you have Dubque(did I spell that right?) And lets just say I have partied there and I am no longer welcome. And for you Amber I will pretend that I am disappointed.

  25. Haha, ouch. ^^U

First off, I want to really apologize to you guys. I didn’t really mean to sound… erm… ‘smarmy’. I love you guys and you seriously make me squeal a little bit when I see you have a new podcast. You’re that awesome.

Which makes me want to thank you, Justin, for pointing out that I can come off as being smarmy… It’s just one of those things that you don’t really realize until somebody writes something rather scathing. So… yeah. Thanks for pointing it out so I can work on not being so smarmy to people in the future.

I look forward to hearing your next podcast, though! ^^

  26. David says:

As a long time listener and fellow podcaster, I understand scheduling groups of people… One reason Madge Weinstein and Wanda Wisdom produce so many podcasts is because it’s their JOB. Once we get paid to do podcasts, we’ll start to be concerned about a “schedule.” As for now, please enjoy life as it comes.. and we’ll drink til it’s all funny! Love you all, love your buttholes.

  27. Eric from Washington says:

Did any one of you guys watch Samantha Who? on ABC last week? It was good, but the reason I bring it up is because there are two characters on there named Deena and Andrea and Andrea is pronounced the same way our Andrea does…(AHN-dree-uh) I was excited….maybe I’m the only one.

  28. oh amber! trust me, ive never been to iowa but i can definitely say it ain’t much better here…..see for yourself on the sad city website: http://www.cityregina.com its really quite sad and boring here! nothin much to do, but thats what happens when you’ve lived here your whole life!

and yet again i will defend you guys! i thought it was a FANTASTIC show! and so what they cant get a show out every single week! oh no!!!! its such a tragedy! so what! big deal, i can definitely understand that they do have lives that need to be attended to first. trust me, i understand that, i am working full time and going to school for massage therapy full time. (if anyone needs a massage i am just a quick plane ride near by, well that depends on where you live, and it may require a passport as well!), so i COMPLETELY understand where these guys are coming from, you have to make sure you’ve got your priorities straight!

  29. PJ says:

    need…new…podcast…..sooo…thirsty…. *dies*

  30. Kristen says:

Listening to the episode again…I have to say, I loved hearing “Hi-Vee!” (I know it’s spelled Hy-Vee…) And I really enjoyed hearing the “Down” voices! I missed them

  31. Eric says:

Guys! I’m dying without a little DTWF fix! Save me!
